We have recently moved our adoption center! We are now located at 20 S Idaho Street, Seattle Wa 98134. Emerald City Pet Rescue is an appointment-only organization. Please check out our "Adoption Process" page under the "Our Animals" tab for full details!

Relinquishment Process

While many of our rescue animals come from high-volume shelters around the country, we also occasionally consider local relinquishments on a case-by-case basis, provided space and resources allow. However, at this time we are not currently accepting relinquishments.

There are also many shelters in the Seattle area that accept local relinquishments or may be able to assist in another way. Note that some of the shelters on the following list are not "no-kill" facilities. Please reach out to the individual shelters to learn their save rates, policies, and procedures.
