Meet Groot! Don’t let his small size fool you, Groot is full of character, charm, and a little dash of mischief. This Terrier/Chihuahua mix is the perfect blend of sweet and spunky. He arrived with his mom and littermates from Georgia, and he’s been keeping us on our toes (and making us laugh) ever since.

Groot loves people and is happiest when he’s getting attention, snuggling, or playing with his toys. He’s a curious little guy with a streak of independence, especially when you try to catch him! But beneath that playful spirit is a gentle, affectionate pup who just wants to be loved. He does great in his crate, is food and treat motivated, and has the makings of a pup who will thrive with a little training and structure.

While Groot isn’t fully potty trained yet and is still learning leash manners, he’s eager to learn and incredibly responsive to positive reinforcement. Because he’s a bit of a flight risk and hard to catch when he gets loose, a secure home environment is a must.
