Meet Cheese!
Cheese may have a silly name, but this little guy is all heart. He arrived at ECPR as a stray and has been blossoming quickly in foster care. He’s still learning the world is a safe place, yet every day he grows braver, more curious, and more connected to his people.
Cheese loves spending time with humans and did well living with children in his foster home. He’s still a bit startled by new noises or people walking past him, but once he feels secure, his playful kitten side shines. His foster reports huge improvements and with patience and gentle reassurance, he’ll continue gaining confidence.
Cheese is a busy boy who enjoys pacing around to see what everyone is up to, pouncing on toys, and chasing anything that moves. He likes cozy hideaways like covered beds, tents, or even the space under the couch. He’s a bush dweller at heart and tends to retreat under furniture when he wants to rest or reset.
He’s also wonderfully quirky: he sometimes stands up on his hind legs, talks loudly when he thinks he isn’t getting enough attention, and meows through his litterbox sessions (we don’t judge). He follows his people around once he trusts them and is slowly learning the household routine. He’ll benefit from a home that understands kittens, encourages exploration, and helps continue his socialization. Another confident young cat could be a great match for him.
Cheese is playful, food-motivated, and absolutely obsessed with toy mice and stuffies. He’ll need a home that provides scratching posts to help redirect his natural instincts and maintain the progress he’s already making.
If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, slightly dramatic kitten with tons of potential, Cheese may be the perfect fit.
Cheese is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered.
