Minerva

Weight: 9 Pounds
Special Considerations: needs daily medications and prescription diet.

Meet Minerva!

This adorable little girl came to us all the way from California with Protein Losing Enteropathy, a condition that causes loss of protein in the body. Luckily, she is a fighter and has done very well throughout treatment and is now stable, but she will need to be on continuous medications and a prescription diet. She will also need regular vet checkups, as this is something that can flare up again. However, she doesn’t let this slow down her love of playing with squeaky toys. She can be a little shy at first but once she warms up, she will want to spend all day in your lap. Minerva would do best in a home with older children. When it comes to other dogs, she does great on tandem walks (until she wants to be carried) but she is still learning that sharing is caring and can be a bit possessive of her toys.

Minerva is current on vaccines, spayed and microchipped.
