Naya is a 10 year old Friesian/TB cross mare with a puppy-like personality. Born in British Columbia and imported as a foal, Naya has lived in western Washington State for her adult life. She is kind to all who meet her, but truly seeks to bond with her person. Ideally that is someone experienced with Friesian ownership, or open to learning about the breed. Naya, like many Friesians, is very sensitive and intelligent, and requires a sustained high level of enrichment and connection. She loves clicker training, liberty work and obstacles. She was previously trained in dressage and equitation. However, the current owner noted an increase in tripping and falling under saddle, which led to a diagnosis of cervical spine compression causing neurologic signs. This means Naya is no longer suitable for riding.
