Tierra

Sweet Tierra is an in-your-pocket Appaloosa mare. She's roughly 10-12 years old and stands at 14H. She's very sweet, but does best with consistency and routine in her training. She does tend to test boundaries, so an experienced and patient handler would be a great fit! We are unsure if she's ever been under saddle, so she'd do great as a pasture pet or a project horse as she'd need to be completely restarted. She's very intelligent and loves to be kept busy with mental stimulation.

Tierra gets along with other horses, and she's in the middle of the herd's pecking order. She does best in a paddock / pasture rather than a stall. She would also do best turned out with mares only as she can become very herd-bound and attached to geldings. She had a small umbilical hernia that was repaired but that has caused her no permanent damage.
