Hamlet is an incredibly smart Kunekune pig! Relinquished to ECPR in 2021, Hamlet had been well taken care of and had no health issues to speak of. That said, he had not spent time around other pigs, as he was raised in a pasture with horses and goats. Upon arrival at the sanctuary, Hamlet quickly integrated with our pigs and became the leader of the small herd. He’s the protector of our group, and he has helped to build confidence in the others - especially Wilbur. Hamlet is a typical KuneKune pig - vocal and inquisitive. He really enjoy being around his favorite farm staff - gladly accepting belly rubs while sunbathing.
