Dodger is a goofy, affectionate, and resilient pup who’s ready to find a cozy home to call his own. After being hit by a car and undergoing multiple surgeries on his hind legs, this tough guy has made an incredible recovery and is now fully healed. He’ll need a lifelong joint supplement to stay comfortable, but he’s still full of pep and always up for a walk or some quality lounge time.

Dodger has a big personality and an even bigger heart. He loves belly rubs, seeks out snuggles, and enjoys being near his people. He’s happiest when he can be part of the action. He’s silly and expressive, and once he trusts you, you’ll have a loyal shadow and cuddle buddy for life. While Dodger has had some positive experiences with dogs in the past, he hasn’t socialized much since his surgery and may prefer being the only pup in the home. He cannot live with cats or young children, and would thrive in an adult-only home where he can feel safe, loved, and understood.
