Emerald City Pet Rescue is proud to have a network of dedicated representatives and partners across the country. While our main adoption center is based in Seattle, our team works with trusted rescuers, shelters, and transport organizations nationwide to help animals in need. This allow us to reach beyond state lines, providing second chances for animals from a variety of circumstances and ensuring they receive the care and compassion they deserve.

Sonja supports both our rescue operations and our growing education department. She leads the development of our e-learning animal welfare curriculum, designed for homeschoolers and digital learners. Through her work, Sonja helps inspire the next generation of compassionate animal advocates and shares the values that guide everything we do at Emerald City Pet Rescue.
