Meet Patriot

Patriot is a 16-year-old mustang with a powerful story. Pulled from the range later in life, he spent nearly 13 years as a wild stallion. Misunderstood and thought to be much younger, he was passed around and shut down - scarred, both inside and out, from a life of survival.

 

Since arriving here, Patriot has been learning to trust and thriving. He now meets us at the gate for scratches, picks up all 4 feet, fly sprays, blankets and enjoys human connection.

 

He’s ready for a soft landing—a home with someone experienced in wild or feral horses. His ideal setup includes turnout with a calm companion, lots of quiet time, hand walks, and grooming.
