Franky is a gentle, sweet kitty who is searching for his forever home. This sensitive guy takes a quick second to get to know you, but once he does, he won’t hesitate to call you over with a loud and thunderous meow and follow you around for cuddles. He often taps us with his paw when he’s not done receiving pets! Franky has a history of missing his litter box, so his future forever home should be prepared and willing to take this on. In return, Franky will give you absolute, unconditional love!

Gimmo is a quirky kitty with funny habits, like thoroughly burying his food in his blankets and posing on his back like an otter. On a few occasions, he has accidentally knocked over his food bowl, looked at us, and meowed as if to say, “Oh no!” Gimmo takes time to get to know you and gives very clear signals if he is uncomfortable. Once he trusts you, he will gladly accept love and cuddles! Gimmo has coexisted peacefully with laid back, disinterested cats in the past, but dogs and children are too much for this sensitive kitty.

Though much of Masika’s background remains a mystery, she surprises us every day with her resilient spirit and lovely personality! Masika greatly enjoys receiving pets and attention from our staff and volunteers. She likes to chat, and often follows her human caretakers around the cat room to see if she can help. Though we are unsure how Masika feels about dogs, she is not a fan of other cats and prefers a quiet home with older children.

After Nilla’s owner passed away, this sweet kitty found her way to Emerald City Pet Rescue. Nilla absolutely loves people and is very outgoing and friendly. She likes to cuddle with you on the couch, hang out on your lap, and sleep under the covers! She happily follows people around to see if she can help. Nilla prefers a permanent foster home with no other cats so she can be the star of the show. Because she is mostly blind, for her safety, she would do best in a home with no children.

Meet Saul! After lots of medical care and testing, Saul is feeling great and ready to find his forever home! This charming and sweet kitty likes to climb to the top of our cat condos and play with water in the sink. He always greets us with a little bit of chatter and follows us around the room to help. He gets along extremely well with dogs and cats who are of a similar rambunctious energy level. Saul is quite the character, and will surely put a smile on your face every day.

In the rescue environment, Willow was extremely overwhelmed and preferred to be left alone. Now in foster, she is more comfortable and showing her loving side. She enjoys cuddling with her fosters, gets zoomies, and likes to play with toys. Willow can be unpredictable and will swat or bite if she is not in the mood, so her future home should be patient and willing to work with her. Willow takes twice daily gabapentin, and has a history of needing eye medication off and on. She has reportedly been okay with respectful dogs in the past, though we have not tested her at the rescue due to her stress level.
