While it is assumed that Elton was born deaf, he has never let this impairment get in his way. He came to us from a loving home in Seattle where they just wanted the best for him. He spends his days running around and goofing off with his best friend, and partner in crime, Amado - all while under the watchful eye of their 'big brother', Hershey. Elton has learned sign language instead of verbal cues and responds to “Whoa”, “Over”, “Back”, as well as a few tricks like “Turn around”, “Spin”, and “Smile”! This incredibly intelligent gelding is a barn comedian and always shares his joy and love with staff.
