While it is assumed that Elton was born deaf, he has never let this impairment get in his way. He came to us from a loving home in Seattle where they just wanted the best for him. He spends his days running around and goofing off with his best friend Amado, while under the watchful eye of their 'big brother', Hershey. Elton has learned sign language instead of verbal cues and responds to “Whoa”, “Over”, “Back”, as well as a few tricks like “Turn around”, “Spin”, and “Smile”! This incredibly intelligent gelding is a barn comedian and always shares his joy and love with staff.
