Hermes is quite the character! He was brought to ECPR from a Texas auction alongside a group of our mini boys. He was covered in mange and lice, and had severe skin infections. We don't know much about his past, but we’ve quickly learned that Hermes is a horse with a remarkable presence. He is incredibly smart and curious, and he’s not afraid to test your boundaries to get what he wants. Despite his brazen behavior, Hermes is a quick learner, and he’s been excelling at clicker and target training. His natural gifts have allowed him to pick up tricks with ease, and he’s made leaps and bounds of progress with his handlers with whom he has built mutual respect and trust. He spends his days with his pasture mate and best friend, Justice. You’ll be sure to see them getting up to a lot of fun!
