Sahara is a horse who knows she deserves love, and she’s very happy to receive it and give it back to our staff. She came to us from a shelter in California at just 6 month old, so she has grown up with us at ECPR. Her best known traits are sticking her tongue out the side of her mouth, and rubbing your shoulder while clicking. She loves spending time her favorite people, and is learning to be more polite when communicating what she wants. Out in the pasture, Sahara is the leader of our group of mares - Arizona, Sedona, Tucson, Baby V, Kahili, and Velvet. She took this group of mares, who seemingly couldn’t get along, and turned them into one big (mostly) happy family. Her confidence is infectious and she’s more than happy to take the lead.
